Daal Noise Control Systems As
High levels of wind noise is a health and safety hazard for motorcycle riders. Noise levels can exceed 110 decibels at highway riding, but also reach dangerously high levels even at city-riding speeds. 95% of riders wants a quieter helmet. Current measures to combat noise levels in helmets have yielded very limited results. DAAL Noise Control Systems is a Norwegian start-up tech company founded in 2016 by acoustician and motorcyclist Dag Loe and physicist Sigmund Birkeland. DAAL is currently developing an active noise control system (ANC) for MC helmets. Our system dampens wind noise without interfering with important traffic noises like car horns and sirens.
