Dabun was incepted in March-2020 with an aim to further accelerate the ongoing “Solar Revolution” in the country. Dabun intends to join forces with organizations already doing fantastic work in the field while striving to contribute to the ecosystem in its own way. At Dabun, we strive to bring cutting edge technology to the grassroot. It has been a great source of inspiration to see small hamlets in most remote areas go solar. We believe technology should not be limited to the Crème de la crème; it needs to trickle down to the last person in the system. At Dabun, we are working tirelessly towards that goal Innovation has always been a key interest area for the company. 100% indigenous batteryless hybrid Solar PCU was introduced to the Indian market for the first time by Dabun. This was followed by launch of Lithium batteries for solar sets – espcially higher kVAs which turned out to be a hard nut to crack for Indian companies. Dabun brought Sun tracker technology to solar rooftops for the first time in India. This technology was limited to utility scale solar power plants thus far. Dabun is perhaps one of the few companies in India that provides it’s own solar panels, PCUs, batteries, structure, installation etc instead of assembling plant with material from different manufacturers. This helps the company take end-to-end responsibility of the plant and provide seamless unified warranty and support to the customer. Through out the journey, the intent has always been to bring things to customers that they have never experienced before.
