In 2016, I opened DAC Balance knowing that business owners needed a bridge between their numbers and what to do with the information. No matter the size or complexity of the organization, bookkeeping is often surrounded with mystery and overwhelm for even the best CEOs. I work with small business owners to get rid of the overwhelm and gain some clarity on what they should be doing each month with their numbers. Some clients prefer to stick with the DIY method while others are ready to outsource. All clients need to know what to do with the information once they have it. Through working with clients, I have found that business owners are overwhelmed with their bookkeeping in three areas. Knowing what needs to be finished each month. Knowing how to outsource their bookkeeping. Knowing what to do with the information once they have it. I help with all three of these areas through one-hour strategy sessions where we break down the biggest problem you’re having with bookkeeping and then find a solution to the problem. When a client works with me, they can expect to have several solutions present to them and then given the opportunity to decide which one they want to implement in their company. After all, you are still the CEO! I am able to leverage my MBA, bachelor’s in accounting as well as my practical experience running a business to help business owners with their bookkeeping problems. Through my formal and practical education, I’ve found that business shouldn’t be run just by the numbers or just by heart.
