Dador is a Cuban fashion and lifestyle brand based in Havana. Our timeless pieces are a mix of sophisticated simplicity with a laid-back island vibe that captures the essence of modern Havana. Our store and atelier is located in the heart of Old Havana, where each garment is thoughtfully designed, handcrafted and produced in limited edition. Dador is the creative vision of Cuban designers Lauren Fajardo, Ilse Antón and Raquel Janero. College friends, Lauren, Ilse and Raquel founded Dador in 2018 with the mission to bring to life a forward thinking Cuban brand centered around their biggest passions: fashion, art and travel. We know where our clothes come from! Dador means Giver. Creator. Dador is our natural way of giving back, of adding our grain of sand and carving our footprint into the entrepreneurial hub growing in Havana. We’re focused on defining a new aesthetic that represents the modern Cuba and brings socio-economic value to the neighborhood and city. At Dador, we’re working to rebuild the local fashion industry through conscious, forward thinking design practices that create a desire and demand for high quality, Cuban-made goods. We oversee the entire production process in-house. This includes design, patternmaking, prototype, cutting, sewing, and sales, all in our own store and atelier in Havana. We are hands-on throughout the entire process. This local production allows for a transparency whereby each person who enters the store can see how and where the garments are made. Dador is a creative space where fashion, art and design merge with the perfect balance of craftsmanship and small-scale industrialization. This gives our products a high level of sophistication, cultural value and identity. Our logo, a hot air balloon in constant motion, forward thinking, as we journey towards the horizon of new experiences while always remaining grounded, anchored to our roots.
