Daegu Opera House

The Daegu Opera House is the artistic center of Asia beyond South Korea. It is our mission to invigorate people's hearts with the finest classical art. The Daegu Opera House offers a variety of opera productions to fulfill the community's desire for classical art. We host the Daegu International Opera Festival (DIOF) every year to collaborate with various renowned international theaters and artists. Through providing high quality and accessible opera performances to our communities, we have had the privilege of reaching thousands of audiences through our shows every year. The Daegu Opera House operates its own opera academy (OpernStudio) to shape the future of opera. It is our mission to nurture the finest opera artists. We are devoted to training young prospective vocalists with tremendous potential as international opera soloists. Thanks to the generosity of our community, the Daegu Opera House has been able to champion the future of our art form.
