DakotaLab is a living laboratory for social innovation, facilitating inclusive digital transformation processes in communities with limited technological access in the department of Meta, Colombia. Our mission To promote digital culture and understand technology and innovation from the perspective of our communities and their environment. Our vision To become key actors in the social and productive transformation of the communities with which we co-create. Techno-anthropological approach We apply methodologies that combine science, technology, and innovation with community participation, promoting solutions that arise from local knowledge and respect cultural diversity. Impact We work under our values of closeness, responsibility, transparency, respect, trust, and performance, contributing directly to SDGs 4 (Quality Education), 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Incubator: We contribute to education in digital citizenship, computer science, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) areas for children, adolescents, and youth. Kanguros: Digital literacy for teachers, parents, guardians, and caregivers. Mentorships: Comprehensive support for entrepreneurs and community leaders.
