Dallas Woodwork specializes in interior and exterior painting and carpentry. We apply old style craftsmanship methods to our work that will stand up to the test of time. On Exterior paint jobs we hand scrub with exterior house cleaners and power rinse with a psi pressure washer. Before painting we scrape and sand the existing surface including wood windows and doors. We use select premium grade paint and apply 2 coats by hand brushing. For our carpentry work we hand select our lumber for straightness and clarity. We remove damaged wood back to to the closet joint without damage. 30lb felt paper is tucked in tight under the existing trim and secured for a water tight seal. New boards will be cut to fit with a tight joint and hand nailed and set without leaving hammer marks. New Exterior cornice and siding boards are back primed before installation. On our interior work we move furniture and cover floors with clean drop cloths and plastic. All jobs are are kept clean, equipment and materials are picked up and put away at the end of each working day.
