Damgaard Company is a Danish-owned investment company. The company has been acting as a combined VC firm and business angel for more than 20 years, investing in small and medium-sized software companies with disruptive technologies and business models possessing untapped potential for further hyper growth – domestically and internationally. Damgaard Company was founded by Preben Damgaard and is now headed by CEO Charlotte Damgaard. Our purpose is to help entrepreneurs with untamable ambitions for global market leadership reach their goals. We invest primarily in B2B SaaS companies with disruptive technologies and B2C platform companies with innovative business models that drive digital transformation and innovation. Combining funding with board presence, management coaching, operational support and access to an extensive network, we actively engage with our portfolio companies to help them realize their growth and earnings potential. Damgaard Company is currently investor and co-owner of a number of well-established growth companies and a few start-up companies. The company has also established a portfolio of more passive investments managed by external asset managers. Investments are only made in businesses that meet Damgaard Company’s core values and investment principles including a proven, valid and scalable business model.
