DAMSELS, Inc is a non-profit organization striving to promote life changing success for women by providing the essential tools needed for daily living, economical, and social development. DAMSELS, Inc. was established to assist women in meeting and overcoming challenges through a variety of experiences and activities that increase social, moral, emotional, physical, and cognitive competencies. These programs can be effective in preventing the full range of high risk behaviors which could compromise our abilities to be successful and self- sufficient. The program integrates education, health, career readiness, and social services through workshops, community-based collaborations; family and peer support; mentoring and community services opportunities. Our objectives are: To build positive self-esteem and self confidence To promote and strengthen family values To conduct resiliency training To provide educational services and assist with career planning To promote health and well being To increase professional development
