With over 30 years’ experience in Lost Wax Investment Casting, Dan Gentle Art Foundry offers Full Service Art Casting from mould-making to casting, finishing and installation. The foundry is set up in an old shearing shed in the wheatbelt region of Goomalling, just 130km from Perth, Western Australia. The business is owned and operated by a 5th generation WA family in Dan & Christy Gentle and their daughters Isabella and Indara. In June 2021, Dan Gentle Art Foundry was commissioned to cast a 2.1m tall bronze sculpture of “Yagan”, sculpted by Robert C Hitchcock. The artwork was completed in four weeks and is destined for the National Museum of Australia in Canberra. Some previous casting projects include public art “Sir Charles Court” in St George's Terrace; “Judith” in Howard Street, Perth CBD; “Natural World” in Ellenbrook; “Farewell Kiss” in Cottesloe; “Safe in Newman” in Newman and the “Bush Guardians” in Wellard.
