Dandy Golf
The Dandy Company was started in 1995 by inventor Allan Strand and his brother, Everett Strand, a MAI Real Estate Appraiser. Their vision, 1) build the best performing putters for the straight back and through putting stroke, 2) have the best players in the world play and win with them, 3) make the game easier and more enjoyable to play - for all golfers - through better putters and methodology, and 4) establish the Dandy as the design standard for straight back and through putters. The Company is constructed like a 3-legged stool. One leg is the creation and validation of Dandy products at the Highest Level in professional golf. The second leg is the development of the manufacturing processes required to produce the highest quality products. And the third leg, is to market those products regionally, nationally, and globally. Dandy products are protected by three utility patents and two trademarks, Dandy and Lifeline. The golf industry went through its version of the current economic downturn, with consolidation and failures, about the same time the Dandy first broke through with its Masters win. Since that date, The Company has developed a full line of putters and putting trainers along with the manufacturing processes to respond to moderate demand. The Dandy Company is a Minnesota "C" Corporation with offices in Minneapolis and Laguna Niguel, California.
