DangerPhoto was founded in March 2018 by photographer Lauren Mikayla on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. She is a freelance multidisciplinary artist, crafting the future with a variety of art and photography. Lauren is a passionate and innovative creator, striving towards a future as a visual storyteller with DangerPhoto. Along with photographing events, DangerPhoto experiments with unique and inspiring photography and art pieces depicting various social issues, such as domestic violence, climate change and assault. These images are generally taken throughout and surrounding local Brisbane areas. Through portfolios, DangerPhoto pieces also depict the beauty found in the world between these social issues, showing perspective on the happiness evoked in communities despite knowing these harsh realities.
