Daniels Wingerak Engineering Ltd. provides Mechanical Engineering for the Built Environment. Our goal is to keep facilities safe and comfortable with creative technical solutions for maximum energy and cost efficiencies. We are a Saskatoon-based corporation established in 1980; owned and operated by our shareholders. Our Principals have a combined experience in mechanical consulting and construction exceeding 150 years. Our current staff complement is 21 consisting of three (3) Principal Engineers,(1) Principal Engineer Licensee, two (2) Principal Technologist, two (1) Design Engineers, three (4) Design Engineers-in-training, five (7) mechanical technologists, one (2) construction administrators, and one (1) office administrator. The majority of our people have been with us for 15+ years. The Firm's mechanical design expertise includes Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Medical Gas, HVAC Controls Systems, and Building Automation Systems. Our projects sectors include Institutional, Educational, Civic, Medical and Health Care, Laboratory and Research, Office and Commercial, Recreational, and Multi-Tenant Residential. The Firm provides the full range of consulting services including Feasibility Studies, Building Assessments, Conceptual and Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Cost Budgeting, Construction Drawings and Specifications, Construction Administration and Commissioning Services. The Firm offers expertise in performing computerized energy simulations. We have completed a number of successful LEED projects and others that are following Green Building and LEED design principles. Our energy simulation expertise allows the project decisions to be quantified and evaluated based on their energy-saving merits and helps guide the important decisions made in the Conceptual and Design Development Phases.
