Dar Al Saqi

Al Saqi Bookshop was founded in 1979 as the first Arabic bookshop in London. Dar al Saqi started from within the bookshop in 1986, and was established as a separate company in 1990 in Beirut. Dar al Saqi is renowed for the high quality of its publications, in terms of content and of print quality. Saqi is present in all Arab and foreign exhibitions as well as cultural events; its distribution network covers the Arab countries and the main cities of the world. Dar al Saqi publishes books by established authors, as well as first books by young authors; some of these have become famous authors while continuing to publish their works with Dar al Saqi. Dar al Saqi has followed the policy of translating important works from various languages into Arabic, for the benefit of the Arab reader. Saqi’s books cover the following subjects: politics, history, biography, science, culture, literature, arts, fiction poetry, reference and children books.
