Dar Studio is an architectural practice based in Perth, Western Australia. Our work focuses on the creative possibilities that arise from working with historic buildings and sites. We are interested in the art of building with an environmental and social commitment that brings new life to buildings and places whilst retaining the best of the character that history has passed on to us. We enjoy striving to make places people want to be in. Everything we do is created around an ethos of craftsmanship, collaboration and connection to place. Our ambition is to make buildings which are meaningful in the lives of those that inhabit them, responding to and growing from our clients’ needs and desires, which are timeless in their materiality, experience and relationship to place.
