Social Media has become a fact of life, these days. At it's most basic, it's all about creating and sustaining community. I believe in community. My youth was spent volunteering and in theatre. There I learned: how important communities are to our well-being and how people respond to anything depends on how you tell the story. More, doing good for others makes you feel good about yourself. It takes a community to build anything worthwhile and make it last. I've managed a variety of different projects, but the most-rewarding were those designed to encourage community. I've worked in theatre, in communications & PR, and for non-profits and for government. I've been a freelancer, a contractor, and a salaried employee. Now, three things are clear to me: 1. All human beings are creative, even if they're not artistic; 2. Building a healthy community is the most effective way to build a healthy future; 3. No one is entirely defined by his past until he's dead; until then, anything is possible. Life is an adventure. It's all in how you tell the story.
