Darling Sweet Handcrafted

Darling Sweet is a company based in Darling in the Western Cape and houses two brands, both in the snack foods market; Darling Sweet, producer of handcrafted toffees, caramels, and toffee spreads, and Swartland Kitchen, producer of rusks, biscuits, and granola. The company has been in operation since July 2014, during which time it has grown at a remarkable pace (an average of 24% annual growth) and today employs 38 full-time members of staff producing our products in 2 separate facilities both with an implemented food safety system (GFSI standard). The Darling Sweet and Swartland Kitchen brands are fast becoming known to an ever-increasing retail consumer market across South Africa, being stocked by many independent delis and farmstalls as well as major retailers such as Spar, MrPriceHome, Pick'nPay, and Shoprite/Checkers. The Darling Sweet brand is also starting to gain traction in the export market.
