Darn Good Sewing was formed by Julie Fenwick in 2017. Julie has always had a passion for sewing and with over 30 years experience she has become a leading professional with clothing alterations, made to measure garments, cushion creation, sofa coverings, small & large scale curtain and blind manufacturing to most fabrication work. Our mission statement is simple, to create "Darn Good Sewing" for everyones personal and business requirements across the North East region and national contract workloads. We can make alterations to your clothing, we can fix certain material tears, from small re-upholstery jobs to small and large household curtain and blind creations. We are fabrication specialists, not just to the personal touch at home but to B&B's, pubs, shops, hotels and any home or business requiring fabrication needs. We are based at Consett Business Park in County Durham, which you are most welcome to visit. However, we also offer free home consultations and collect and deliver in the region when required.
