DasHuh/DasHim Apparel was launched by Shannon Graham, a Fort Myers resident and graduate of Florida State University. “DasHuh” and “DasHim” are individual lines within the apparel company that appeal to the professional in their down time and to the young, fun, ambitious audience who appreciate sophistication while exuding confidence and independence. They are colloquial terms originating from southern dialect which means “That’s Her” and “That’s Him.” They are meant to embrace the uniqueness in each person who wears it, along with depicting that individual’s determination and motivation. Graham has also developed acronyms for each line that further describe the emotion behind the brand. “DasHuh is the perfect epitome of today’s woman, states Graham, “It’s the ideal description of the confident, ambitious, yet fun, bold, sexy and savvy woman. This clothing line is for the women who stop at nothing to obtain goals, determined to enjoy life, and is eager to share her individualism with everyone around her. DasHim is perfect for the man that doesn’t mind being spiked in comfort while looking and feeling super masculine during his leisure time. He’s one that is highly motivated, takes pride in his appearance and is very confident about himself and his abilities.” Graham is also the coach/director of DasHuh Basketball Foundation (DHBF), a non-profit 501(c)3 girls (middle-high school) traveling basketball organization. One of the main purposes of the clothing line is to assist with funding the non-profit thus covering the travel expenses of all the players, college application fees, college tours, provide scholarships to eligible kids within and outside the organization to assist with food/utilities while in college, and provide startup funds to kids who wants to develop their own entrepreneurial skills.
