datamap consulting, Est. 2020, is a company that operates in the field of Geographical Information Systems (GIS). It offers consultancy on- cartographic production (international standards as MGCP, VMAP, LCCS) including project management, quality control, quality assessment procedures and reporting- creation and maintenance of geographic databases, both in proprietary (ESRI ArcGIS) and/or open source software packages (PostgreSQL/PostGIS)- processing of satellite images at different spatial and spectral resolutions- spatial analysis- management and analysis of vessels tracking data (Automatic Identification System, AIS). Thanks to high level collaboration with regional, national and international public bodies and agencies, universities and renowned private companies, the founding members have developed expertise and more than 15 years of experience in the GIS field applied to various sectors, such as agriculture, marine infrastructure and activities, energy and defense. Furthermore, datamap consulting cooperates with international high level experienced professionals.
