Datini Foundation

The Datini Foundation is a non-profitable place for the synthesis of intellectual, organizational and financial efforts of business and society in order to increase economic literacy, management quality, social responsibility of business, development of economic science and education, information and communication technologies, innovative models of social and economic development. The foundation was created and registered in the Republic of Belarus in 2018. The Datini Foundation is named after Francesco Datini, an eminent medieval economist, businessman and philanthropist, who laid the foundations of modern management accounting in transnational holding companies. Among the objectives of the Foundation are the studies and popularization of the heritage of European medieval economic thought, in particular, the archive of Francesco Datini, the projection of this experience into the future to build effective micro and macroeconomic models, synergy of business, science and education. In addition, the Datini Foundation holds educational seminars, training and workshops for top and finance managers concerning improvement systems of business management and financial accounting with implementation best international practices, information and communication technologies. Our educational programs are carried out by the Foundation itself and in cooperation with leading business schools and universities in Belarus and abroad. One of the key activities of the Foundation is the further development and expansion of international contacts of the Datini Business Club (DBC), which has been created at the initiative of Foundation Trusties in 2014. This Club in cooperation with the Foundation experts represents special think tank dedicated to studies trends, challenges and opportunities of the modern world in economic, politic and social dimensions. Our think tank are organizing regular meetings, preparing analytical reports and prognoses for members of the Club.
