Datta Seva Samiti (DSS) is a professionally managed NGO committed to uplifting the environmental, social and economic status of rural people. DSS interdisciplinary team shall be equipped with innovative, entrepreneurial and empowered professionals continuously trying to accomplish global benchmarks. DSS shall foster a culture of caring, mutual trust and continuous learning while implementing sustainable natural resource management. DSS is a Civil Society Organization working with the mission of rural development which had implemented a watershed programme on 1 lakh hectares of land apart from its spectacular performance in micro irrigation, women’s development and livelihood enhancement. Impact: Improved agro-forestry, re-carbonizing the land space and rejuvenation of tributaries/rivers are possible only from watershed management programmes at the micro level.
