David’s previous position as Registrar at Land Information New Zealand provided him with an understanding of the processes and intricacies of the registration process. It also gave him invaluable experience in interpreting the land title register and identifying important matters that reduce risk for the practitioner and which ultimately benefit your client. David was asked to comment on the Law Commissions report on the new Land Transfer Act and has been called to appear as an expert witness to assist the court in applications to extinguish and modify land covenants and easements and other title matters.
