Building sustainability in sourcing and manufacture across the International textile industry I have enjoyed a lifelong career in the international garment industry - working across the globe from East to West, from Shanghai to Casablanca, Beijing to LA, gathering a lifetime of knowledge and contacts along the way. My network spans the world - from the leaders of global brands to the supply chain companies that work with them, I understand the textile manufacturing world inside out, from the needle-point to the board-room. I have been instrumental in shaping some of the world’s leading names - holding senior posts in the UK and with postings around the world, some hostile, some inviting, all interesting and culturally diverse, I make connections - whether that be sourcing fabrics, or working with the innovators of cutting edge textile technology. I know the textile industry from top to bottom with first-hand experience of every function, I can analyse a business model, quickly assess working practices and thoroughly review any textile business. I know how to create value in textile and clothing businesses - I have first-hand leadership experience in creating impressive management teams and leading a number of management buy-ins. I am experienced in VC pre-investment due diligence and I've held a number of interim post-investment executive roles
