Davis Companies is the parent organization of the businesses owned and operated by the Davis family of Omaha, Nebraska. For more than 40 years the firm has provided insurance, bonding, and consultation to its corporate clients. Its subsidiaries were formed to create synergies that enhance each of the company’s core business. Davis Companies began in 1971 with the establishment of Davis Insurance Agency. By the mid 1980s, operations had expanded to five states and six urban centers. Over the past 20 years the firm has seen remarkable growth. Sales and service have expanded from $1.5 million in 1991 to a recent high of $18.7 million.
