Davis Period

We are the University of California, Davis campus chapter of PERIOD (period.org), the largest international youth-powered non-profit for women's health advocacy. We recognize access to menstrual hygiene as a basic necessity and human right. We strive to break the stigma around, improve access to, and celebrate menstrual health through Education, Service, and Advocacy. One of our main projects is advocating for universal provision of free pads and tampons in campus bathrooms. These basic necessities are equivalent to toilet paper and soap and integral to creating a space where students are safe, healthy, and able to focus on academic, career, and personal growth.
