Dawson Racing

Dawson Racing, founded by Ian and Simon Dawson, showcases a deep history with extensive experience in real motorsports for over 60 years. With decades of competition in everything from Formula One to sports car racing, the father-son duo has been innovators and disruptors in the sport and across the globe. They list a who’s who of history makers as their teams, drivers and clients. Their passion to bring families into the sport of racing is a lifelong goal they are intensely working to achieve. In addition to a racing program in 2020 with the International Motors Sports Association (IMSA) in their WeatherTech Sports Car Championship Series with a Prototype Challenge (PC) entry, they also oversee the recently launched D3eSports Cup. Headquartered and operating at the Motor Sports Ranch of Houston (MSR Houston), Dawson Racing operates a Ligier LMP3 car with international drivers. Although on hiatus during quarantine, it is expected to return to the race track in July.
