Who we are David Bassey Ikpeme (DBI) Foundation & Homes is a registered Nigerian non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Community health and integrated development nationwide. DBI works collaboratively with Implementing Partners, National and local Civil Society Organizations, Networks and Governments at all levels to improve health and nutrition; water and sanitation; food and livelihood security; education; humanitarian assistance and disease prevention and mitigation, with a focus on HIV/AIDS, including a multidisciplinary focus on Vulnerable Children. DBI has developed particular expertise in mobilizing and building the capacity of communities to address root causes of the challenges they face and develop their own solutions, resulting in impact that is more likely to last and grow to scale. DBI Foundation and Homes is headquartered in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State and has a project office in Calabar, Cross River State Nigeria, We have extensive expertise in a wide range of disciplines relevant to supporting HIV/AIDS control programmes. Our Mission D.B.Ikpeme Foundation and Homes is aimed at providing Care and Support services for Orphans and Vulnerable Children and provide economic empowerment to their care givers. Our Vision We envision a world where every child who has been made vulnerable is given a chance to life, a chance to be educated, and a chance to be heard and hope to enable them gain control over their own future and effect social change.
