Def Con 919 or DC919 is the Def Con Group for the 919 area code or the Research Triangle Park (RTP) area. We hold a free local meetings meant to share, spark, or fuel your interest for infosec. Our presenters are passionate about what they do and excited to share with the group. We encourage our members to play in tech by getting creative on personal or group projects and really thinking outside the cube. DC919 and it's meetings are open to ANYONE regardless of skill, age, gender, job, company, etc. We do not discriminate toward the individual for who they ARE in any way. We will have a problem with what they DO, if it’s malicious or illegal (we will NOT teach you how to hack your ex's Facebook).
