De Vaarboom
De Vaarboom bestaat sinds februari 2010. Elke zaterdagochtend (met uitzondering van de schoolvakanties) tussen 09.30 en 12.45 volgen kinderen van 4 t/m 12 jaar Nederlandse taal- en cultuurles in de Queen Emma School te Cambridge. De Vaarboom staat open voor kinderen die de Nederlandse taal mondeling redelijk beheersen en die in ieder geval met één van de ouders thuis Nederlands spreken. Bij eventuele terugkeer naar Nederland wordt instroming in het onderwijs in Nederland gemakkelijker.
