Deadline IT Services was established as a sole proprietorship in January 2001 to fulfill an unprecedented demand for IT and Internet security services. The name changed to Deadline Security Services in 2004 to reflect an evolution in its focus: the provision of security consulting services, security equipment and security expertise to organisations in the telecommunications, mining and public sector. Deadline Security Services also provided hands-on services to assist clients in the day to day operational running of these systems. In 2007, Deadline Security Services added Security Management services to its portfolio and assisted many clients in the financial, petrochemical, energy, mining, public and law enforcement sectors with: Cyber and physical security consulting; Privacy consulting; Threat and vulnerability assessments; Security risk management; ISO/IEC 27001 certification assistance; and Security architecture consulting. Today, to a much lesser degree, Deadline Security Services provides cyber security incident consulting and custom security solutions for a select group of clientele in the security / law enforcement / cyber security community.
