Dean Nota Architect

Dean Nota Architect is an established Los Angeles firm with over thirty-five years of experience in custom, client occupied, residential and commercial projects. We are located in Hermosa Beach, a coastal suburb of metropolitan LA. Our current work includes proposals for sites in Los Angeles, the western United States, and Costa Rica. Dean Nota Architect sees the creation of buildings as an open, collaborative process involving clients, consultants, public agencies and builders. Our architecture grows out of a search for unique, meaningful solutions to each client’s program and site, grounded in a tradition of Southern California modernism. The work continues to be guided by a design process rooted in the belief that site context, structure, appropriate technology, natural light, and spatial orientation are the essential ingredients of architecture.
