Deanne Howlett Resin
With an RMIT Bachelor Degree in Visual Communication and Design, in 2020 Deanne transitioned from a practise of painting, to establishing her place as a Jewellery Designer. Established at a time of global uncertainty with the introduction of the pandemic, Deanne’s jewellery pieces were heavily influenced by a need for comfort in the way of tactile wearable objects that were sensory both to the touch, and visually. This has continued to inform the designs of all of her wearable artworks. Deanne is especially proud of her Marine Debris jewellery collection which creates a focus on the issue of wayward single-use plastics in our marine environment. Deanne’s work can be found in East Gippsland Art Gallery, Latrobe Regional Gallery, and Gippsland Art Gallery.
