DECENTRAL ART PAVILION Venice Art Biennale 2024 Edition 16–28 April 2024 Decentral Art Pavilion is set to be an epoch-making event, curating an exceptional blend of digital and mainstream art, with a spotlight on renowned artists such as Marina Abramovic, Frank Stella and Andy Warhol among others. This initiative is a testament to the transformative power of artistic expression and technological innovation. in 2022 we welcomed visitors and garnered 91 million media impressions, with contributions from distinguished artists including, Beeple, Matt DesLauriers, Xcopy, Sarah Meyohas, Coldie, Aaron Penne, Drift-Don Diablo, Snowfro, Hackatao, Hal Finney, Anna Carreras, Kevin McCoy, Renderfruit, and Six N. Five and more-"Master Strokes" and witness the genius of iconic figures like Frank Stella, Marina Abramović, Andy Warhol and many more as they harness digital tools to push the boundaries of artistic expression-"Re-orientation" curated by Auronda Escalera and Alfredo Cramerotti. Echoing the Biennale's resonant theme "FOREIGNERS EVERYWHERE," this section showcases avant-garde artworks that embody adaptability, inclusivity, and the relentless pursuit of innovation in the ever-evolving realm of digital art-"Thematic discussions and showcases": AI Fashion Photography Generative Art Phygitals Film Gaming XR Music more-"Artistic Syntax" and "A Digital Odyssey”, these exhibitions unveils the intricate interplay between art and programming. Artistic Syntax traces the trajectory of digital art from its humble beginnings in 1965, while A Digital Odyssey, curated by Robert Alice, delves into blockchain's profound influence on art, emphasizing its transformative impact on concepts of ownership, authentication, and distribution in the digital art realm.
