For over 25 years, DEEDS India has empowered the Deaf community through free education, skill training, and jobs. Starting in 1998 with just 4 students, we have transformed over lives, with over 2,100 securing meaningful employment. Our centers in Mumbai and Dehradun provide a holistic ecosystem: 1. Education Mumbai – Junior and Degree College providing commerce education in a safe, Deaf-friendly environment, officially recognized by the Maharashtra State Board and Mumbai University. Dehradun – A school for the Deaf, Bajaj Institute of Learning, with hostel facilities, offering ISL-based inclusive education from pre-primary to Standard XII. Skill Development & Vocational Training Mumbai – Computers, Culinary Skills, Retail, Housekeeping, Tally and Banking, Work Readiness Dehradun – Tailoring, Bakery and Housekeeping courses 3. Mentorship and Placements We offer mentorship by industry experts and connect individuals to suitable job opportunities through our placement team. In Dehradun, initiatives like Silent Stitches, Silent Bakery, and Silent Bistro further provide livelihood and entrepreneurial pathways for long-term empowerment.
