Deem Journal

Deem is a print & online journal focused on design as social practice. We define design as the process of adding value. We believe that design is a fundamental shared experience. We believe that design is everywhere. We explore human-centric design models independent of exclusive institutions and industry categories. We ask what design can do for communities by creating conversations that are trans-disciplinary and intergenerational. We seek to uncover meaningful narratives, connections, and patterns that will help us better understand our histories and imagine our futures.
