Defapp

Defapp was developed as a self-defense and emergency app. In case of an emergency, it enables the immediate and repeated sending of a help message to preset contacts including the current position, as well as the triggering of the so called defense mode. The latter includes a flashing light to draw attention to itself or to fend off an attacker, a loud alarm sound and the automatic recording of a video. The operation is intuitive and also works with high stress levels. As special highlight Defapp also includes a version for the Apple Watch which works in the same intuitive way. In addition, Defapp can also send these help messages via voice command. Currently Defapp is available free of charge in the App Store. However, a low-cost subscription model in the single-digit euro range will probably be introduced at the end of the year.
