DeFood supports data and digital transformation because we are working on a digital agriculture marketplace https://defood.org to connect wholesale trade in one place. Our main activity is the development of tech tools to make trade more efficient. Our aim is to use digital solutions to support creating food safety systems with full transparency and balanced demand and supply. We also have consulting services helping suppliers establish trade relations with buyers, especially entering the Polish market. We are also suppliers of fruit and vegetables for three big retail chains in Poland. We buy products from farmers who don't cooperate with retail chains individually and sell these products to retail chains, organising transport, packaging and negotiations. We focus on creating an efficient food system to establish long-term contracts between producers and buyers to diminish food waste and balance demand and supply.
