Fifteen years ago, as classic carpets began evolving toward modern styles, Delasa Studio was established. From the very first day, my dream in founding this studio was to create a meaningful connection between classic and modern designs—a “bridge between the authenticity of classic carpets and the appeal of modern ones.” The result of my relentless efforts to achieve this dream was the creation of a unique style that revitalized classic designs, combining their timeless quality with the allure of modern patterns. From the very beginning, Delasa Studio faced a significant challenge. The innovative style we chose for carpet design demanded constant and unceasing creativity. Every carpet we designed was a major challenge, beginning with extensive exploration of various cultures and drawing inspiration from their histories, and culminating in the re-imagining of those designs in a contemporary world. However, our team embraced this challenge wholeheartedly, and our passion and dedication turned Delasa Studio into a leading hub for modern carpet design. Each member of the Delasa team is deeply committed to a unique goal. The pencil-drawing team focuses on classic carpet designs, the specialist team re-imagines new patterns, the coloring team handles the palette, the artistic effects team adds the finishing touches, and the sizing team ensures everything fits perfectly. Together, these teams work in harmony, creating designs that are not only distinctive but also inspire other companies to replicate and reproduce our styles in the years to come. The heart of Delasa Studio is in Istanbul, where new design concepts, techniques, colors, and materials for the carpet industry are developed through a structured process.
