Dem Society

The DEM Society has recently emerged from two ambitious students who aspire to give DEM students the opportunity to have their own academic society where they could expand their opportunities during their university career. The aspiration of the DEM Society is to help students gain experience and network connections through a series of Case Competitions, Workshops, Seminars and Networking events. Our main goal is to meet the needs and expectations of students and fellow UofT student groups and academic societies to further promote UTM and the CCIT/DEM brand outside the UofT community. Externally, the DEMS would inform and encourage students to take part in regional, provincial and national competitions and conferences that take places year round. Working closely with these organizations we hope to provide a great number of students the opportunity to participate with minimal cost to them.
