Demarsh Design

Stephen as been working as a designer since 2006. After graduating from Algonquin College’s Graphic Design program in 2008 he went on to work in Manhattan New York City. In 2009 he returned to work in Canada at some of Canada’s top digital agencies including Cossette, Critical Mass and Henderson Bas. During his time in Toronto he worked with some leading brands like Tim Hortons, Coca Cola, Nestle, Nintendo, Mercedes, General Motors, Kraft and Joe Fresh as a User Interface Designer, Illustrator and Animator. In 2010 Stephen decided to move to China to learn Mandarin. After one year he was starting to be more immersed in Chinese culture and language. After obtaining a basic level of Mandarin and proper etiquette he found a job working at Hape on of the world’s largest wooden toy manufacturers. He created websites, catalogues, packaging in Hape’s global marketing department. In 2014, he opened his first company called S&D with his business partner Daniel. After one year the two decided to part ways and the company was renamed Volo Digital Agency. Fast forward to September 2019, Stephen has opened a new design studio bearing his name. DeMarsh Design builds brands for Medium and Large Manufacturing & Trading companies. Their main market is in China but they also work with clients in Canada, US, South Africa, Turkey, England and Sweden. DeMarsh Design are also designing packaging, brand guidelines, websites and creating engaging social media content.
