Demcon was created as a result of the passion of its founders for solving challenging technological and social problems. We develop high-quality, innovative, complex systems and products, and can also take care of production ourselves. In a society faced by major challenges, we carry out projects that have a positive impact on people and the world they live in. We work on smart applications in various sectors, such as healthcare, safety, water, energy, production, agriculture, aerospace and communication. Our commitment is to make a meaningful impact. We focus on developing high-tech solutions for contemporary social issues. For instance, we developed Demcair, a respiratory system to relieve ICUs during the COVID outbreak, or our In Ovo Sampler, an autonomous machine that determines the gender of a chick while still in the egg, preventing the culling of billions of male day-old chickens. As a comprehensive systems supplier, we meet all customer needs from initial concept creation to prototyping, industrialization, and (series) production. The Demcon group consists of more than 20 companies, which support and strengthen each other throughout the client partnership development process. Our strength lies in our one-stop-shop approach, leveraging diverse expertise to address all client requirements in-house. With mechatronics being Demcon’s multidisciplinary specialism, combining mechanical, electrical, and software engineering with fields like robotics and telecommunications into one strong approach. Together these disciplines are responsible for creating and elaborating innovative concepts for the client’s design project. Over more than 30 years, we have grown into the Demcon group with over 1,200 employees. With branches in key knowledge centers such as Best, Delft, Enschede, Groningen, Maastricht, Scheveningen, Münster (Germany), Tokyo, and Singapore, we serve clients worldwide.
