Demijohn is the UK’s first liquid deli and its creation in 2004 has brought a whole new way of selling to the UK high street and online sales. Building on the passion of founders Angus and Frances Ferguson for fine food and drink from around the world, the couple created a unique way of retailing in the UK - a cross between an Italian cantina and a traditional grocer. Focusing on quality, taste and provenance, together with their high eco-credentials and a desire to support small, predominantly UK producers, Demijohn sells a huge selection of unusual spirits, liqueurs, whiskies, oils and vinegars, quite unlike anything else that is on the market. In Oct 2010 Demijohn won Best Small Independent Multiple Retailer of the Year at the Scottish Retail Awards.
