Monterey Mills converts raw fiber and yarn into plush high-pile fabric. The initial fiber is received in bales, blended to our specification, carded into a loose rope (also known as sliver), knit into a high-pile fabric, sheared and/or polished to the desired finish, and ultimately, slit or accumulated into a roll. Finally, it’s knitted with an extremely fine denier acrylic fiber that results in a high-end fabric which is light, soft, comfortable to the touch and warmer than fleece.
