Denholm Universal Ltd was established in specialising in high quality surface preparation and protective coatings for engineering, petro-chemical, subsea, power and civil industries. The site is equipped with a large blast pen, an open plan painting shop and a quay-side rub shelter. We also offer off-site services anywhere in the UK. We are committed to delivering the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction achievable, whilst endeavouring to meet the demanding lead times required within our field. Our quay-side facility in Middlesbrough, Teesside (right next to the landmark Transporter Bridge) provides immediate access to one of the UK’s busiest ports with ample craneage and direct access/load-out for large scale and complex structures. The site is ideally located for the numerous fabrication companies and industrial sites based on Teesside and the wider area of North East England. Our vast experience includes the application of a wide variety coatings for the offshore industry (including systems which meet the requirements of the Norsok M501 Coating Specification), carrying out contracts for the Highways Agency / Network Rail on road bridges / viaducts and the protective coating of structural steel & pipe work (including on-site maintenance and repairs post installation).
