Denmar began its activities in 1998 at Hopa Port, Turkey. Since 2009, Denmar has been carrying out temporary storage and shipment activities by land, sea and rail within the Derince Port enterprise located in Kocaeli, Turkey. 3 million tons of soda ash per year is handled & exported from Derince port facility every year. As of 2019 Denmar US started freight forwarding operations for general cargo, warehouse service, container and air transportation. As of 2020 Denmar started to operate a transloading facility in Carson, California, USA. 155,925 tons of soda ash in 6237 TEUs was handled & exported from Denmar transloading facility in Carson, CA since started in 2020.
