Dennis Hellyar Architects is an RIBA Chartered Practice, based in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. DHA work with a broad sector base of knowledge, to provide high quality, sustainable, architectural services to clients on Residential, Community, Educational and Commercial building projects, in Swansea, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, the South Wales and Southwest regions. The team approach every project with the same rigour to achieve the optimum design, in response to the Client’s site, brief and budget. As Certified Passivhaus Designers and historically having worked on several Breeam award winning projects, the practice is committed to low energy sustainable design, providing appropriate, imaginative, cost effective technical solutions to meet our client’s individual requirements. Established May 2013, at the core of dhA’s values is a desire to provide the highest quality of Architectural thinking and Services for all people whatever their budgets driven with a belief in the Added Value an Architect can bring to Projects. Our aim is to interpret and respond to the client’s brief through progressive, high quality, sustainable design, with thought, consideration, value and care, and a sensitivity for the character of the existing local architecture and surrounding environment, to make places with the highest quality of building projects, with the budget available. All clients benefit from the Team’s direct and personal attention to their project. The practice’s commitment to utilising state of the art BIM (ArchiCad) and virtual building modelling allows us to function as a micro studio on a very varied range of projects - The Practice provides Architectural Services on a range of developments from small works residential projects (c.£100k) including one off houses, extensions and refurbishments, to large scale master-planning and delivery of commercial developments (c.£20M).
