Densep Technologies

Densep was established in 2009 with the aim to provide mineral processing consultancy services in particle separation process for the copper ore from Rikodik mines, Pakistan. Typically, copper mineralogy involves froth floatation, gravity circuits and hydro cyclones. Densep had improved the floatation kinetics for the targeted copper ore by creating a multi-phase CFD model of a froth cell. The theory behind the model was based on population balance equation to simulate and predict the realistic interactions between bubbles and solid particles. Densep had also conducted numerous fluid-particle coupled simulations to optimize the geometry of the cyclone separator and to study the flow patterns with in the vessel. Though the Rikodik project was never realized but it had given Densep engineers the experience and the foundations in modeling and analyzing complex physico-chemical processes. Since the mineral "Separation" in the above processes are predominantly based on "Density Difference" hence the acronym DENSEP was conceived. Later DENSEP portfolio was extended to other industrial separation applications such as membrane separation in water, wastewater and mineral processing. Today Densep Technologies is an expanding, dynamic engineering firm that provides specialist design, analysis and project services in a multitude of engineering fields and disciplines.
