Dentons Mauritius Llp

Dentons Mauritius was established in October 2018 through the combination of two legacy firms with origins dating back to the 1940s. Today, we are recognised for our depth of experience in both litigation and transactional matters, underpinned by a longstanding legal heritage. Our multidisciplinary team includes lawyers qualified in Mauritius, the UK, South Africa, Australia, France, the US, and Germany, enabling us to advise across a wide range of international, regional, and local matters in both English and French. The team is led and supported by seasoned litigators, including Manon Mardemootoo (appointed Senior Attorney in 2004 and former President of the Mauritius Law Society), the outgoing President of the Bar Council, and a consultant who is a retired judge of the Supreme Court. Our bench also includes experienced transactional lawyers, legal analysts, and paralegals. As part of Dentons’ global network, comprising lawyers across 80+ countries, including over 200 legal professionals in Africa, we collaborate seamlessly with colleagues worldwide across 40 practices and 24 sectors. Our clients benefit from a unique combination: the deep-rooted insight of a leading Mauritian law firm, and the cross-border capabilities of the world’s largest global law firm.
