Dependable Distributed Embedded Systems Ddems Labratory

Nowadays, distributed embedded systems are employed in many safety & mission critical applications. In these applications, dependability attributes (Reliability, Availability, Safety, Maintainability, Testability, etc.) are primary design objectives. The DDEmS Laboratory conducts research on the design of dependable distributed embedded systems. Special emphasis is placed upon the development of techniques and tools for dependability evaluation and improvement. We are concerned with the exploitation of systematic design and design automation techniques for industrial applications.
